Our Commitment to the Community
At our core, we believe that a successful business is one that gives back. Our community is more than the place where we work – it’s where we live, connect, and grow together. That’s why we’re dedicated to supporting local initiatives, uplifting organisations that make a difference, and getting actively involved in causes that matter.
We’re proud to sponsor a range of local sports teams, clubs, and community events. From cricket cup competitions to sponsoring our local sports people and events, our goal is to help create opportunities that bring people together, promote healthy lifestyles, and strengthen community spirit. Giving back is a key part of who we are. Our team regularly takes part in charity events – whether that’s fundraising challenges, like abseiling dressed as Santa Claus or running a half marathon, awareness campaigns, or hands-on volunteer work – we try to do it all.
Most recently in our fundraising efforts, we took part in the Summerfield Boules Tournament where we are proud to announce that Summerfield developments were able to raise £3,500 for the Summerfield Force for Good Fund administered by the Somerset Community Foundation. We also attended the Taunton Vale Rotary Club’s Golf Tournament back in July, the team also took part in the St Margaret’s Hospice Care Colour Run in May and our Trainee Paraplanner, Gaby, also took part in the Taunton Half Marathon also raising funds for St. Margaret’s Hospice. This year we have also co-sponsored the Taunton Swimathon in support of Taunton Women’s Aid, ICU neo-natal ward at MPH & Somerset Counselling centre, with our director Neil Rossiter taking part in the swim!
We are also proud to announce our return as headline sponsorship of the Santa Abseil this year for the amazing charity St Margarets Hospice, with more details to follow keep an eye on this space.
By partnering with local charities and national causes, we help provide support where it’s needed most and encourage everyone in our organisation to get involved.
